Regardless of whether you need this size, or a larger size -- the Prevail pads seem to hold together better than others. For example, if you are remaking a bed and the pad is still dry and usable, you can shake it out and lay it down again. WIth other brands we tried, that shake would shift all the fluff to the side and make them unusable. They don't have any smell to them which is nice -- some brands have a slight plastic/chemical smell.
