Been DE shaving for about 1.5 years so I have not tried many soaps; as a full-time grad student, I need to be cost-conscious. I was using and was satisfied with Col. Conk shaving soaps, but wanted to try to upgrade w/o spending much more. This Proraso does seem to give me a better lather than the Col. Conk and seems to work well on my "sensitive skin." Still, not a great lather when compared to a premium shaving soap, but if this is your budget, it works well for what it is. I will order again unless my budget increases:)Customer Review: Not all that great.

I have sensitive skin, and wanted a shave soap that would help, but I will look elsewhere in future. The soap lathers well, and feels ok, but doesn't seem to lubricate all that well. The bad part is that the soap builds up quickly on my chromed head razor into a sticky mess that causes the blade to stick and skip. After carefully wiping off the build up it's fine for a few passes, but definitely a let down.Customer Review: Too many hazardous chemicals.

I wish I had done my research before buying this product . Environmental Working Group gives this a 9, out of 10 for being hazardous. Too many chemicals that are not good for the individual or the environment. I will be sending it back to the company with a letter explaining why I won't be using or buying their product again.Customer Review: Shaving Soap
