I've been intrigued by special detergents for workout wear, so I was really pleased to have the opportunity to try this. Almost all of my workout clothes get that post-workout stink going, and my regular laundry detergent just doesn't do the job at removing that smell.
I just did a load of workout attire with Pro Wash, and it removed all of the sweat and smell, even in/on some of my oldest and worst-smelling pieces! I even tossed in a really old sports bra that is about ready for the trash, and it smells (maybe not looks) brand new. As another reviewer mentioned, the smell of this product is great, and it's definitely gender-neutral.
Pro Wash is also eco-friendly; it comes in a pouch that is very easy to use. The side of the pouch is marked for 24 units, and each load of wash (depending on the size of the load and the type of machine you have) takes 1-2 units of detergent. Since I used 2 units for a medium-sized load of workout clothes, I would expect to get 12 loads of wash out of one pouch.
I'm incredibly impressed by this stuff, and will definitely be buying more!

It's an old shirt -- one of my favorites -- a very comfortable long-sleeved purple LSU sporty shirt to wear with jeans. Even though I've had it a few years, the fabric still looked good except for the coffee stains on the front coupled with oily stains from spilling bites of crawfish and jambalaya on the front.
"If Pro Wash can take this stain out, I will be surprised," I thought. All the sprays and pre-wash soaks had failed so far. Cynically I followed the directions.
Now my shirt looks as good as new! There will be other shirts brought back into the front of my closet so I can wear them in polite company.
What I don't like: The package instructions recommend measuring by the graduated scale on the side. Doing so would be awkard. There is a measuring alternative: "Reuse the cap of your ordinary detergent." Different detergents have different sizes. I desided to use a tablespoon measure. Two tablespoons = one fluid ounces.
A very useful product highly recommended!

At first I was a bit apprehensive about even using this detergent. The consistency of the liquid is thinner than my usual detergent. Also, the packaging is "flimsier", but less filling for the local waste yard, so that's a good thing.
I used this on two very large smelly loads which included clothes from: My morning 90 minute workouts, my 5 hour motorcycle ride around SoCal and my husbands jogging and work clothes and also my yoga workout clothes. I wanted to see if there was a difference between the smell and appearance of our workout clothes.
The smill of Pro Wash was more pleasant than my other detergent. I liked the fact that it smelled clean and fresh and not like perfume. The change in appearance was not apparent after washing only one load. Maybe after washing an item 10-12 times?
For athletic clothes (mine can be nauseating!) this worked for me getting the clothes smelling clean and fresh.

I normally buy All, in one of those scents like rain-forest or something like that and it works great, no complaints...but thought I would try pro-wash for my work out and yoga clothes and my husbands bike clothes. Ok, we are not supremely sweaty people, but they were dirty clothes, so we measured out the 2oz, which by the way is marked on the side of the handy little pouch and let it do it's thing.
I will say that I don't like heavily scented detergents and I do not use dryer sheets because the detergent bothers me, but this detergent was fine. I found it fresh smelling but not overly frou-frou or strong, and it didn't seem to bother me at all.
All and all, good product, did a good job on our work-out stuff and was not too fragrant.
I will definitely use it again for my workout attire as it is supposed to be better for the fabrics.

The first time I used this was for a load of "yard-work" clothes that were soiled with dirt and some grass stains. I pre-treated the stains (as the package directs) and used the prescribed amount of detergent in warm water. The results were very good. The stains were old and set-in, so they didn't come out completely, but they had definitely faded down to almost gone. (The load wasn't particularly "stinky" so I can't comment on odor control as some other reviewers have.)
The next load was a load of new white towels, one of which had a makeup stain. Pre-treated, used hot water, and voila! Stain gone.
The packaging is lightweight, and easier to handle than a typical heavy jug of detergent.
Overall, I'm impressed with the cleaning power, the packaging, and the pleasant smell.
I'll definitely continue to use it!
