I have tried multiple different ear plugs over the years and believe these plugs by Moldex are the best. I wear them while riding/racing my motorcycle to cut down on wind noise, as well as when doing yard work with a weed eater and lawn mower.
The great thing about these ear plugs is you can roll them up to put into your ear and they hold their shape for about 30 seconds. This gives you plenty of time to get them into your ear. This seems obvious, but quite a few plugs on the market will foam out before you have time to put them into your ear canal.
These are also the best plugs I have used as far as noise reduction. Most plugs are rated at the same Db, but these are far better then any other I have tried. They are quite a bit denser then others, so I would attribute it that.
And lastly, I can get about 10 uses from each pair. The only reason I throw them out is because they end up getting dirty with ear wax and dirt from sitting in my pocket when not in use. At this rate, I use one pair a month. 100 pairs will last me for a couple years, all for around $20!!!
