Slowly but surely the hot flashes crept up on me... Surely I am not perimenopausal at 42? Itchy ears, tired but couldn't sleep, then covers on, covers off throughout the night as I went from freezing cold to roasting hot!! No one tells you that the chills come with the flashes!! I went for my womens check up and had blood tests that confirmed that yes this sure was that time. Oh boy, was I desperate? I was up to 20-30 hot flashes a day and counting! My doctor wanted to give me a prescription for a low dose pill but before I had time to collect it I was into my fifth day of taking Profema and my hot flashes were starting to lose their intensity. Within 2-3 weeks my symptoms had vanished and I was bouncing off the walls with renewed energy. It had been so long since I had felt so good that I had quite forgotten what it felt like. I so recommend this product. I have been using Profema for about 18 months now and don't think I could live without it. My flashes did re-emerge a few months back as I imagine my hormones levels must have altered. I simply added a homeopathic progesterone creme which got me back on track. Profema is my 'can't be without' product.
