Customer Review: Wow, why have I not tried these before now?

You won't believe the taste on these bars! You get 20g of protein for 200 calories with little sugar (2g plus 6g of sugar alcohols). The chocolate actually tastes and acts like chocolate (in that it melts on your fingers) - no wax-like coating. This passes itself off as a decent candy bar all while being an excellent protein bar. I was using ThinkThin's Creamy Peanut Butter bars which were more filling (more like a meal replacement) but left a horrible aftertaste and had 230 calories for the same amount of protein. The Pure Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter is so much better and more affordable. I also like that these bars use whey protein as well - not strictly soy-based protein (like Clif).
I use these as a post strength training bar, and they work great. They give me the protein I need without a lot of calories, and it tastes like a candy bar! These were so good, I decided to order Pure Protein Revolution Chocolate Peanut Caramel bars which offer 20g of protein for 180 calories (1.76 oz size). I can't wait to try those out as the reviews on those are even better!
