Customer Reviews of Quit Nits Complete Head Lice Kit 1 KitCustomer Review: Finally Summary: 5 Stars
I am sick of nit picking! I have tried everything multiple times- RID, NIx, mayonnaise, tea tree oil, etc,, I picked and picked and they came back. This has worked every time I've used it. Lice visit our school at least once a year and Quit Nits is the only thing that consistently works. You do have to nit pick but this treatment works.
Customer Review: Finally Summary: 5 Stars
It works. I did pick out all nits beforehand and then used it (which is what I did with CVS lice treatment, Ridx etc.). This finally got rid of them and is not toxic, smells good and Review: expensive but seems to work pretty well Summary: 4 Stars
Harvard Medical recommends using conditioner to stun the lice and then comb them out. We bought this originally to get the metal lice comb. Now we use this instead of other cheaper products. More expensive - but it saves some time, I think.
This product claims to kill the eggs ("nits") as well as lice. I kind of doubt that, but if it was proven true - this would be the holy grail of lice treatments.

Customer Review: No combing required? Um, wrong. Summary: 3 Stars
We used this exactly as directed: saturate the hair, cover with a shower cap for four hours, leave on hair overnight after removing the shower cap if you're really worried about not killing them. I do believe it killed all the ADULT lice: they rinsed out in the shower. But when I used a lice comb on my son's hair the next morning, there were lots of very happy, active nymphs on it. It also didn't seem to loosen the nits because, when I later used another product that DOES loosen the nit glue, lots and lots came off in the comb. Be sure and use a really good lice comb like the Terminator one.
In short, yeah, it smothers the adults and smells a lot nicer than mayonnaise, but it's a lot of money for that. WHY do they say "no combing required?" So misleading.
