I bought a grab bar for my mothers shower and I noticed (after she complained) that it got slick. So I was hoping this safety cover would help. I was a little hesitant when it first came because it doesn't look like much, and it was sent in a tight roll. But, it did cut easy with scissors, so I was able to get a good fit for the railing. It took only 2 tries (but only a few seconds) to get it on straight, and I have to say it does the trick! It did just what it said it would. It gave the much needed non-slip surface and it feels good to the touch.
A word to the wise, it only goes on the straight parts of the grab bar (the parts you actually grab), plus, I would make sure that the railing is completely dry before peeling and sticking this on.
