Zaja Natural creates high-quality, great-smelling products, and this body butter definitely falls into that category. I absolutely love how it feels on my skin. It makes my skin so soft and isn't greasy at all, and it's very moisturizing. I also feel great because I'm putting natural ingredients on my skin. No sulfates or parabens! This body butter is made of 95% natural ingredients. :) (I'm guessing the man-made ingredients might be the fragrance?)
Although the jar is only 6 ounces, it'll last a while. The butter is quite nice and thick - if you flip the container upside down, nothing spills out! A little really goes a long way.
The scent is complex. Though, I love how the body butter smells in the jar, after I apply it and the scent matures a little on my skin, there's a scent that I'm not really loving. I THINK it's the sandalwood and that it's a bit too strong and overpowering. For a time, I can only smell the sandalwood. However, after a while, the sandalwood eventually mellows out, and I can start smelling the vanilla again. There's not that many red velvet scents out there to compare this to, but I feel like it's a warm, vanilla-y scent that is kind of reminiscent of cookies or icing.
All in all, I really like my body butter, though I do wish the sandalwood in the scent was lighter. I would DEFINITELY repurchase a Zaja Natural Body Butter!
