As a geriatric nurse I encounter numerous patients who are hearing impaired but who will not purchase expensive hearing aids. In order for these patients to hear what their doctor is saying I let them try the Super Ear. It has been extremely helpful. Family members usually want to buy one. The Super Ear is simple to use, inexpensive and durable. The only downside is that a few patients have taken them home and I have to order more.Customer Review: Reizen

the item is very sensitive and does help to hear low volume sounds. If you turn the volume control too high it is contradictory because you get a lot of background noise. On the second day of use it quit on me, and I opened it and found a cold solder joint and repair it myself and it has been working ok since.Customer Review: Lousey ear pieces

I bought 3 of these and I glad I did. The amplifiers work wonderful, but the ear pieces are not too good. The rubber ear device keeps coming unattached. I used the 3 ear cords and the last one also broke. I went to Radio Shack and bought a new ear piece for $9.00 and they work great.Customer Review: Reizen Super Ear

This little amplifier is powerful but the sound quality is so tinny and hollow that it is practically useless as a hearing aid.
