First thing's first, I don't have too much facial hair. In fact, you can easily count how many hairs I have above my lips and on my chin, about 50 and 9 respectively. My facial hair grows out to be about 2-3 mm long, which takes about a week.
So I have never really taken the whole shaving thing into serious consideration. Because of this, I have always used disposables and always use each one multiple times before I dispose of it.
I bought this Remington MS2-370 with doubt and fear of it not being able to cut my immature facial hair and therefore a waste of my money. However, two weeks passed and my "moustache" and "beard" were ripe for a shave. As soon as I opened the box from Amazon, I plugged in the shaver, read the diirections, and went crazy on my face.
The shave was, for lack of a better adjective, amazing. The microscreen was comfortable and the shave left my skin completely clean, as if I never entered puberty. Although my roommate could hear the shaver during operation in the next room, the sound of it buzzing away doesn't really bother me considering how wonderfully it shaves.
I was so amazed that I let my dad use it. He has a much thicker and bushier moustache and beard. When he used it, the shaver didn't work as well on his face. The shaver left a few sparse hairs unshaved. However, the hairs that it cut were really close. I'm guessing that the hairs that were still standing did not enter into the holes on the microscreen.
This product works wonderfully for me who does not have much facial hair but it works mediocrely for my dad who has much more hair than I do. I hope this review was helpful and brightened up your day.

The Remington MS2-370 is my go to shaver when I need a close shave, I need to clean up the areas that were not shaved close with my Wahl and Braun shavers, or I'm running late. This baby gets up close and personal and will leave my skin as smooth as a straight edge. It does have a tendenacy to burn the skin if pressed too hard on the area around the mouth and it will not run on the power chord alone. It has to be charged up. It is easy to clean and the trimmer is exceptional. However, when it comes time to replace the foil say a prayer. It is a difficult task to do and it requires a deft touch and patience or you will probably ruin the new foil before you get it in. But this shaver is the only one I've owned that will give me a smooth shave all over and it is by far the most efficient to use. It has cut down my shaving time in half. For the price, it really can't be beaten. It is the only electric shaver that will also provide a smooth shave on my chest. As far as those other places a guy might like to shave when getting ready for a hot date, this Remington runs on too much octane. Having purchased my first Remington in 1945, I have used other shavers over the years. I found the Remington to be superior to all I have tried. Essentially, it is an engineering marvel. Remington makes other more expensive models of shavers. However, from a practical point of view, this particular model is all any person needs. Their instruction manual could be a little clearer as to how to replace screens. They recommend replacement every six months. Rotate the screens that are already in the shaver and you will gain more time on the screens. I have found that if you wash your face prior to shaving, your shaver stays cleaner and the screens last longer. With proper use, a screen can last more than a year, particularly if you rotate them. Assuming you have a very course bristly beard, you might have a problem using this or similar products.Customer Review: Good Shaver

This is a good shaver, no questions about it. If the battery stops working, you can use it with the cord. I have owned this shaver for about 3 years and I've only had to replace the blades once. There is a little technique to using an electric shaver (primarily getting the hairs inside the grill), but it does a fine job. If you shave every morning, there is never any problems. If your facial hair gets longer, the built in cutter has a setting that makes it even with the shaver so you can get most of it in one pass.
The battery has died after 3 years, but thats expected. Corded works great for me, but then again I'm not stretching the cord more than 3 feet.

This shaver is a new and improved version of the Remington shaver I've been using for some years. It runs significantly faster, which means it shaves closer and more rapidly. The two-position trimmer is a big improvement also, since I don't shave every day and it used to be tough going after waiting a couple of days; now a quick once-over with the trimmer makes the shave far easier. The electrical connector on my old shaver became loose after a while; it doesn't seem like the new one will have that same ailment, though it's too early to tell. Finally, I bought this new model for about half what the previous model cost me in a local retail store -- hard to beat that!
