I really like this hair iron. It works perfectly for doing bangs and getting rid of those little curls. I also like the option of using it on wet hair - even though that's not a very good idea on a regular basis, it's nice to be able to do it occassionally. Also, I like the automatic shut off and how you can lock it closed. I was going to buy one from revlon but chose this one because of those saftey features.Customer Review: It goes to curly.

I did not like this product at all. Not only does it pull at your hair because it is not smooth but the iron has gaps, but i does not go from we to straight. In fact, it hardly goes from wet to dry. When it does dry your hair when its wet, it doesn't go to straight. It goes to curly. I did not like this product at all. This iron works perfectly. It straightens dry hair, and it drys wet hair. With a little bit more patience after your hair is dry you continue to use it until your hair is straight. I borrowed this from a friend to see how well I liked it before telling my family that I would like it for christmas.
I used it the first time this morning and I have long, thick, curly/frizzy hair.
When my hair was wet I split it into 5 sections. The first swipe I did on my first section made my hair look really curly and frizzy. But by the third swipe it was smooth and straight. I have never seen my hair lay so nice and it did not get any curl back after 4 hours which my hair usually does. It is also soft and very shiney, which with my blow dryer and straightner it was usually corse and dry.
It took me about the same amount of time that it would doing my other routine but I am sure the more you use it the better you get and the faster it will work.
