I keep my hair cut short and was looking for a product that I could use between going to the barber every two weeks. When I saw the Remington Short Cut, I said "I gotta get me one of those". I received the clipper on August 13th, the same day I went on a two week vacation. On the ship, I was cutting my hair twice a day, that is how much I enjoyed the clippers. When I got off the ship, I spent a week in Florida and introduced my brother to the clippers, in fact I had to leave them in Florida for him and purchase a new set when I arrived back in New York. It is so easy to use, it os like brushing your hair. Great product design. The curved edge makes trimming hair or beard very easy, very fast. Unfortunetly due to the battary they use in the device, it does not hold a charge very well at all, even when new. Consequently you have to charge it prior to every use. If they would produce one of these that can be used while plugged in, or with a better battary, it would be a very in demand item.
I do like the item (I've had two) and will continue to use it, but the battary technology is very, very poor.
Remington should re-introduce the product with a different power source design that works better. PLEASE!!!

OMG!! I LOVE THIS!
I just received it yesterday & I let it charge all night. Today I tackled my 3year old with it. It is always a battle to get him to the barber & its even worse when he is actually getting his hair cut! I was able to hold him still to brush it over his head, then when he had enough I let him go & got him an hour later. It cut his hair perfectly! He was laughing towards the end.. I even asked him if he wanted to use it himself, he said no but I wasn't worried about him "cutting" his own hair.
THIS is IDIOT proof! I am so glad that I don't have to go through the hassle of taking him somewhere to get a hair cut anymore! This is going to save me so much time & $$$$

I am amazed at the versatility of the Remington Short Cut Clipper. I have keratosis on my scalp and favor a nearly bald hair length to facilitate medicating, which this delivers without undue interference with the keratosis scaling. But the adjustability also allows me to have more length on the sides and the back. A friend recently commented on how good my haircut was. When I told her that I did it and with what, she remarked that she wished it had been available when she went through chemotherapy years ago and lost her hair then grew it back. All this and it pays for itself in less then 3 uses!Customer Review: Great Clipper!!!

I must say I have bought a lot of clipper sets in my day and since its so dang hot here in Las Vegas this summer I decided to go with a short buzz cut. I used regular clippers but could never duplicate the results of my barber and I felt ripped off by the barber paying him $12.00 for a 5 minute hair cut. So one day I stumbled across these clippers and I am VERY pleased with them. They are perfect for short "buzz" cuts probably not so good for longer styles. As far as the batter life I have had ZERO problems with mine. I even cut my hair with them right out of the box without charging them. So far I used them 3 times and have only charged the thing once. This clipper is a great buy!
