This product was awful. I was so excited to buy it because I have wavy hair from a perm a year ago, and it takes 2 hours to blowdry and straighten. This product didn't do a thing. It may have straightened my hair (after running it through about 10 times) but it didn't dry it in the least bit, and it made my hair frizzier than it's ever been. Do NOT buy this product!Customer Review: I bought a Vidal Sassoon straightener that works perfectly for about $10 less than this one and it works so much better.

I bought this product because I thought it would save me time by not having to blow dry my hair first. The product claims it will dry and straighten your hair at the same time, but it really did neither of these for my hair, which is thin and generally easy to straighten. I bought a Vidal Sassoon straightener that works perfectly for about $10 less than this one and it works so much better. this product is amazing to believe the lame reviews. i bought this and i have curly hair. i wash my hair and towel dry and i pass it through of course more than 3 times this isn't a magic iron that dries in one swipe. (duh) but when i'm done my hair is sleek and smooth and i could even get it to my roots. this product is awesome. i even used on my friends hair her hair is kinky no pun intended. but it flattened it just like mine and it came out perfect. i truly recommend this, and if not fully satisfied because u don't know how to use it return it. but it's awesome. my stepmom even uses it in her salon. but anyways this is awesome. peace.

This straightner works good when hair is dry! I thought that it would work wet and i wouldn't have to dry it but i was definitly wrong! You must dry you hair first then straighten. this product (like any other) works well on really healthy, thick asian hair (which is why i even gave it a star at all). If you were to have dry, or thin, or curly hair, it will damage your hair A LOT. I used it constantly, and until i STOPPED using it for two weeks, i realized how damaged my hair was before from using it. If you were to use this product on your hair while it's wet, it damages it A LOT for ALL hair types. I used to have a revlon ceramic straightener and it is about the same price as this, and it worked really well, considering it's price. The ceramic on this straightener is VERY bad quality and it isn't worth your money. I would NEVER even consider using this in a salon. I would recommend a Revlon straightener because out of all of the different brands i've used, it works and is the least damaging to my hair, because of the better quality ceramic.
