I needed to do a Non-Destructive Test (NDT) on some old new stock ANVIS monocular housings for 1033 Program Support. They were the two piece design that had a batch making its way thru Supply channels known for separating and causing expensive damage. I bought three UV 365nm products; the first two produced some 365nm light but mostly light in other wavelengths making it impossible to do the required testing. My third purchase was this RestAssured UV light, which produced pure 365nm UV light and no other wavelengths. Using this light made it very easy to do the NDT on these parts, all of which passed. If you need a Lab grade UV-A lamp for scientific purposes, don't buy anything else but this product. You will be glad that you did.

The Spectroline (R) MiniMAX Series UV lamps are lightweight, portable, transistorized UV lamps that provide 4-6 hours uf use on 1.5 volt (AA) alkaline or better batteries, or unlimited use with the included ac adapter. This is the only 5 watt portable UV lamp on the market.Light Therapy
