Yes, Rhodiola can do wonderful things for you, with its mental clarity effects and with its bonus of added energy. However, any company that puts 500 MG into a capsule had better have good liability insurance in place. That is, unless it is a "dud" Rhodiola that has little or no effect. If that were the case, than this product COULD be safe. Rhodiola is an herb that should not be purchased based upon the content in milligrams. I've tried this one, and there is less effect than other brands with 150 MG of Rhodiola. In fact, the Rhodiola must be of such low grade that the manufacturer HAD to put a full 500 MG in each capsule just to give you an effect. With Rhodiola, it's the grade of extract that counts. Don't buy Rhodiola from a company that produces vitamins and minerals as this one does . . . that isn't the right mentality to deal with a finicky plant from the arctic that has no bearing whatsoever on typical "MG's per dollar" pricing. Of the dozens of different brands, there are only two or three where the manufacturer actually knows the plant well and where it is proven to be safe and effective. How can a company sell a product that just doesn't do anything, despite the amount of stuff in the capsule? This just doesn't work. It makes you feel all jittery, and that's about it. There are far better products on the market than this one, and I guess Rhodiola must be one of those "you get what you pay for" types of products. My doctor recommended Mind Body & Spirit. another Rhodiola, that seems to work very well, but I can't find it here on Amazon. I found out with this NOW product that not all Rhodiola's are the same.
