Description of S15 Purifier - PURELAB Option Water Purifiers, Siemens Water Technologies - Model OS015XXM1 - Each
An alternative to distillation, the Option water purifiers are designed to produce Type II water. The S series purifiers produce better than single-distilled quality while the R series purifiers produce better than double-distilled quality. Both purifiers offer pretreatment, reverse osmosis, and ion exchange, but the R series also offers UV photo-oxidation and recirculation. The purifiers are available with flow rates of either 7L or 15L per hour. The Option S series purifiers include a unique GRID (Graphically Represented Intuitive Display) control panel featuring user-friendly icons, a microprocessor-controlled quality monitoring system, front-entry service doors, cartridge change indicator, adjustable audio-visual alarms, data collection capabilities through RS-232 interface, a long-life integral prefilter, a high-flux reverse osmosis membrane, and a unique high-capacity purification cartridge pack. The Option R series purifiers offer all the features of the S series as well as integral recirculation of purified water, UV photo-oxidation technology, simple sanitization regime, an optional point-of-use final filter, and a height-adjustable point-of-use dispensing tap. Purifiers with booster pumps assist where feed water pressure is insufficient (<2bar/30psi).
