Customer Review: Excellent general-purpose hair clipper, not just for beards

The hair clipper in this kit has an adjustable length comb (my favorite feature), which eliminates the need to store multiple comb attachments and makes adjusting comb length a snap. Although the product description says "beard trimmer", it works perfectly well as a general-purpose hair clipper. I have compared this clipper with two other cordless clippers that offer adjustable length comb (a Remington GCT-2000 and a Wahl 9627), and the Vidal Sassoon clipper worked better than the other two. The motor is powerful and can cut a lot of hair in each pass without jamming. (Whereas the Remington clipper motor feels more powerful and smoother but somehow can't cut as much hair in each pass; the Wahl clipper motor is weak, stalls frequently, and pulls out hair very painfully.) Overall, the hair clipper in this kit is ergonomically designed and seems very solid. This kit comes with a separate nose hair trimmer. It also comes with a stand for holding the clipper and accessories, which is probably better suited for display in a barber shop; I wish it had a regular storage box or storage bag instead.
