Customer Reviews of Schick Intuition Plus Shaving Kit for Sensitive Skin, Fragrance Free, 1 eachCustomer Review: Better than average Summary: 5 Stars
First let me get a small complaint off my chest the razor head bottom strip does not last long enough.
I love this razor I have used it for three years and never had a cut or scrape that was not actully user error (went the wrong way) with that said I use this razor to save time now I have really sentive skin and can not use much of anything on it, but this one works and leaves me smooth for days at a time.
Customer Review: schick intuition plus shaver Summary: 5 Stars
This is the best shaver I have ever used! It is well worth the money.
Customer Review: Comfortable to hold, cartridges make for fast easy shave Summary: 4 Stars
Ever since I have been in college, I can not go without a day without shaving my legs -- I can't stand the feel of stubble.
This is the best razor I have ever used. I love the large handle with the rubbery grip. I love the fact that the blades are surrounded in the solid that acts like "on the go" shaving gel. The blades are retractable and movable within the solid so that it conforms to knees, ankles etc. It is great for a quick shave without having to get slathered first.
The only negative is that the conditioner solid does not last that long -- at least for me since I am using it daily. The solid is used up within 3-4 weeks and the replacements are expensive. However, for the convenience and the end result, I'm ok with that because I don't have the mess and cost of additional shaving products.
If you are fanatical about having smooth legs every day, this is the right razor to keep that.
Customer Review: Good for in the shower! Summary: 4 Stars
This is a good razor for in shower. I don't get cuts, and I take a lot less time shaving with this. My only complaint is the soap/moisturizer bar around the blade wears out at the bottom and leaves a lot on top you really can't use. It is also a little expensive, but really helps me speed up my shower routine.
Customer Review: Most awful demonic razor ever produced by Schick Summary: 1 Stars
Naturally, from the title, you could guess I'd give this "thing" less than one star if possible. If you're curious enough to try this product, instead of throwing money away on it, try sticking razor blades into a bar of soap and rubbing that over your legs and underarms. Same exact effect.
The soap part is only good for maybe one shave (if you survive it) and when you can't feel if the blade is actually touching the top of the skin and then you'll press harder. Congratulations, you have butchered yourself with a bar of soap. Also the "sensitive shaving gel" component will leave your skin dry, not to mention the patches of razor burn you'll be subjected to once the "convenient" shaving gel becomes miserable remnants that taunt you as you drag the drying razor over your skin.
The size and unwieldly shape itself would be a problem in itself even without the deceptive soap block covering the razor. For some reason, it has a huge thick grip and a wide razor head. Unless your body is composed of perfectly flat, broad planes (unlike knees, underarms, etc) go for it. Having shark-tough skin would also be useful.
Either it leaves you unshaven and dry from the shaving gel, or cut up and angry. at a razor. which is sad.
I am sure there was some good natured person who honestly believed this cursed plastic thing would "save time in the shower", but at what cost? What are you doing with your shaving cream in the five seconds it takes to apply that you would subject yourself to this voodoo doctor witch tool that will either leave you as hairy as ever or cut to shreds (by the way DO NOT use on your lady parts!! I can only shudder at what damage that could cause to the unsuspecting consumer) I could not believe a razor could be so frustrating.
I love my quattro. Shortcuts be darned, razors and shaving cream are the extent of our shaving technology as a species, people.
