These work great if you're serious about lifting and you're at the point were certain exercises become difficult because you're distracted by trying to keep your grip on significant weight (100 lb. + dumbbell shrugs, barbell rows etc...)
Fitment is good, ease of putting on is fairly good...could be easier...some fiddling sometimes...lifting assistance is GREAT! You can really concentrate on your range of motion and form and ignore the weight hanging off your arms now.
Get these over the hook type straps because they are not as cumbersome and you can ignore the straps on your wrists until you need them.
Very good product overall.

For years I've been lifting with standard cotton webbing straps and they do great! They do what they're supposed to. I've seen others using various types of lifting straps but have never been interested until I lost my lifting straps last week. I went to the shoppette here on Camp Arifjan and these (Schiek lifting straps) were the only ones they carried. Reluctantly I purchased them and after the first time using them, I was disgusted.
There's too much going on with the foam and the velcro and crap. All straps are supposed to do is allow you to lift more weight by transferring the load to the wrists and avoiding limitations in forearm muscles and grip strength. With these foamy things and velcro strap crap, I just don't feel comfortable. They don't feel like they're transferring the weight properly because of the design blunders. They don't help at all.
CRAP! Straight in the trash! I'll lift without until my regular ones get shipped to me.

I have used schiek straps for years and I'm a big fan of
Schiek, but the straps in this style are too short to be useful. the people at schiek should have known better
