I've tried all sorts of fish oil gelcaps: standard stinky, "odor-free", etc. There was one, NKO, that made us both throw up our toenails, it was so bad! MegaRed may not have perfect benefits et al, but at least it goes down and STAYS down without all the wretched side effects of the others. I'm about to order yet another bottle, so I have the empty one sitting here by me, just smelled the inside, and it is perfectly pleasant. Perhaps it does smell a bit like vanilla but, personally, I'm quite a fan of vanilla, and it certainly beats stinky fish smell! I highly recommend these above all the others.
