It didn't matter to me that these towels were not soft... but it did matter that they were absorbent. I found them to be lacking, as well as too thin. Won't be getting them again.Customer Review: Not Absorbent At All

Due to previous satisfying purchases of recycled bathroom tissue (Green Forest brand is my favorite by far over Seventh Generation), I figured this purchase of paper towels would be an even easier transition than with bathroom tissue. However, Scott Naturals Paper Towels are a big waste of money, because they simply don't absorb well at all. I end up using many more sheets than I would with regular non-recycled paper towels to accomplish the same spill pick-up. So, any environmental benefit of these is completely negated. Believe me, I have done my best to keep my sheet usage down (in the spirit of "reduce, reuse, and recycle"), but it is impossible to do if you really want to clean anything up. The Scott Natural sheets just don't absorb liquids well at all, unfortunately. Don't waste your money on these.Customer Review: yuck
