I by far prefer Kleenex Viva towels.
Viva feels more like cloth, making it more absorbant. More like a shop towel.
Spills with these scott just soak right through, and then spread the spill around.
I have formed a habit of just tearing off 2 - 4 sheets every time I get a towel, so I am really burning through them quickly.
The strength of the towel is not great, I continually rip the towels in half when getting them of the roll. you almost have to stop and think about it when you are trying to get just one. I dont scrub much with a towel, but I dont think it would hold up well.
Finally, these rolls are large, and are a tight fit for some holders. In fairness, the packaging says so, and i knew they would be large, but it turned out to be more annoying than I thought it would be.
If you just want cheap towels, these are great, and are better than using standard printer paper.

These paper towels are terrible. They are stiff and uncomfortable, but most importantly, they dont tear on the perforation, they tear down the middle of the towel in a jagged line! I won't be buying these againCustomer Review: Horrible

I was in the middle of a Subscribe and Save binge trying to automate my life, when I was shocked to see that Amazon doesn't carry Bounty towels. I've been using Bounty my whole life, but I ordered Scott with Subscribe and Save instead, figuring "how bad can they be"? BAD.
Pros:
Slightly cheaper than Bounty
Cons:
Rough - forget about using them against skin!
Flimsy - don't try tearing one off with wet hands, it's like trying to handle toilet paper with wet hands
Weak absorption - takes 2 to 3 times as many sheets to soak up the same volume of liquid as Bounty
Thin and Fragile - Never tears along perforation unless you use two hands or tear very slowly
