As BzzAgent, I received several 'Spring Cleaning' products from SC Johnson. The one that interested me most was the package of Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel. I immediately cleaned my toilet with my regular toilet cleaning products, and then dispensed one gel disc under the bowl's rim.
The cleaning product is contained within a tube handle that the user pushes forward to place on the toilet. I found the tube push-dispense method fairly easy to use, but I thought it might be difficult for a person with arthritic hands to operate.
Now, I just waited to see if my toilet stayed cleaner and fresher longer...or not.
I immediately noticed the scent. As I couldn't see the gel disc in my toilet - and had basically forgotten about it, I couldn't place the smell at first. When I finally remembered it was my new cleaning product, I was pleased with how pleasant and clean my whole bathroom smelled.
The gel disc lasted as long as the box claimed - just about a week. Although the Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel can't clean the parts of your toilet that a male potty-training toddler manages to find (believe me, I know), and you'll need to do a thorough scrub job with another product, the gel discs DID keep my bowl clean and fresh smelling for longer than my normal cleaning products.
Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel is now a permanent addition to my grocery list!
