Customer Review: Best SLS-free toothpaste on the market

My hygienist recommended that I switch to an SLS-free toothpaste when I started getting really bad canker sores (aka aphthous ulcers, and not to be confused with cold sores). Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is a foaming agent that's used in nearly all toothpastes (not to mention shampoos and other washes) on the market.
It took me a few years of struggling before I happened upon this toothpaste. Most other SLS-free toothpastes on the market are "natural" (though Toms of Maine uses SLS) and a lot of them are slimy. Furthermore, many use cinnamon as a flavoring, which can also be irritating. This toothpaste foams nicely and tastes pleasant. I've been using it for several years now and it's the number one factor in controlling my canker sores.
I can see that some people have complained about this toothpaste as compared to other "sensitive" toothpastes, and apparently it's not stellar, but I prefer it to the other varieties of Sensodyne. I can definitely say though that for SLS-free options, I've found nothing better.
