Customer Reviews of Seventh Generation Chlorine Free Baby DiapersCustomer Review: Great diaper, good marriage of price and eco-friendliness Summary: 5 Stars
We really like these diapers. They fit my 7 month old very well (she is about 17 lbs, on the low end of the fit range). They leak less than the Pampers and Huggies that I had been using. I like that they are chlorine-free, so less harming of the environment, and also fragrance free, so less apt to irritate baby's skin.
Price is just as good as premium brand diapers if you do the Amazon Mom program + home delivery. I am actually spending a bit less than I was buying Huggies at Costco, so highly recommend you do it that way! Plus, when you are nearly out of diapers and it's 8pm and snowing... and UPS shows up at your door with a case of these little gems.. Happy dance!
Customer Review: Thank you Seventh Generation!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I have been an avid cloth diaper user with all of my children. However, with my youngest child, I noticed that he was having a reaction to the fleece lining of the diapers every time I would put them on. I still wanted to use a diaper that was free of all of the harmful chemicals and the bleaching process, so I decided to try the Seventh Generation diapers. I have been so pleased. They contain messes large and small. I can only recall one time since beginning to use them where I had to change clothing because they leaked. And, the most important thing to me is that my son has no more nasty rashes and reactions. I will continue to purchase these diapers!!!
Customer Review: Love them! Summary: 5 Stars
They look a little granola-ey, but I love these diapers. My husband and I thought the regular diapers (Huggies, Luvs, Pampers) had a weird, chemical smell to them, and since our baby is wearing them practically 24-7, we thought we'd go with a natural brand. I prefer these to the 365 (?) brand at Whole Foods. I recommended these Seventh Generation diapers to a friend and she thought they were too rough, and that they leaked (I have never had this problem, but I understand different brands fit each baby differently - Huggies vs. Pampers, etc.) so they may not be for everyone. I recommend trying a sample, which they give out in stores like Trader Joe's sometimes.
Customer Review: LOVE IT, LOVE IT! Summary: 5 Stars
We started using these diapers when my 1 year old developed a horrible blistery rash while using Huggies. We tried cream after cream without success. Then we decided to switch the diapers. We purchased these at our local health food store at a hefty price. But within days the rash was gone. We have tried to return to Huggies but the rash returned as well. I am so happy to find the diapers at Amazon for a fraction of the price. I am a 7th Generation believer. It makes me feel better that I am using something with less chemicals on my daughters sensitive skin. I highly recomend these diapers!
Customer Review: Great diaper - fewer chemicals Summary: 5 Stars
Theses are great diapers - hardly ever leak, even overnight, and my baby is a HEAVY wetter!!! Also, I feel good knowing that I'm using a diaper that puts fewer toxic chemicals against my baby's skin - no chlorine, for instance. I sort of miss the baby-powder smell of other diapers, but then again, I know that comes from perfumes and other chemicals that I'd rather not expose my baby to. She's had only 2 MILD cases of diaper rash (eg, just a little redness), and I attribute it, in part, to using diapers with fewer chemical irritants. I would definitely recommend these dipes!
