Customer Reviews of Seventh Generation Fabric Softener Sheets, Blue Eucalyptus & Lavender, 65-Count Boxes (Pack of 3)Customer Review: Environmentally friendly, works well. Summary: 5 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
Many of us have gone without softener in our washers and dryers as we try to be kind to the environment.
Finally, there is a good solution! Seventh Generation makes great products, usually soaps for the dishwasher and washing machine. So, these cloths represent a bit of a departure for the, or perhaps they are branching out into other directions. At any rate, they work really well.
Here in Alaska, it can be very dry, especially during the winter months. A coarse towel or item of clothing just adds insult to injury. So it's great that we can again have softer towels & handcloths without feeling that we are doing something that is harmful to the environment.
In the past, I have used dryer balls, but noticed the plastic spicules come off in the dryer. Threw those out before they could destroy the dryer! That would be costly!
Still use clear vinegar in the washer (about 10 years now). That both brightens colors by removing calcium build up & also softens the fibers in the clothes without destroying the fabric.
I think these dryer clothes are a useful adjunct to the washing and drying regimen.
Customer Review: No Harsh Chemicals with a Lovely But Subtle Scent Summary: 5 Stars
*****
I already use Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent, and when I use these dryer sheets with them, the combination is perfect! These (along with the Free & Clear Unscented Dryer Sheets) are the first dryer sheets I've used in years as I'm very sensitive to chemicals. These look similar to regular chemical-full dryer sheets but are the color of brown grocery bags with raised bumpy areas like a paper towel. They have a very subtle scent compared to conventional brands and they work very well to soften my clothes.
You should know that these dryer sheets do not soften as much as the chemical dryer sheets, but that's fine with me; before using these there were no dryer sheets whatsoever that I could tolerate so my clothes were pretty stiff. In addition, the sheets don't leave anything behind that I'm allergic to, or anything at all that I can notice besides softness and less static cling.
I had been very impressed after first trying the Free & Clear Unscented Dryer Sheets and so I also tried these, and I do like a nice scent even better. Both are great and it just depends upon whether you want no fragrance at all or a very light, subtle, natural fragrance. Neither bother my chemical sensitivities. I have continued to use these for about a year and am very happy with them.
Highly recommended.

Customer Review: ONE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS! Summary: 5 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
I can't tell you how many "green" or "organic" fabric softener/static reducer laundry products I have purchased in the past year. Among them were the Ecover liquid and Mrs. Meyers Clean Day dryer sheets. NONE did anything for the static cling....until now.
I'm happy to report that the Seventh Generation Fabric Softener Sheets did indeed eliminate the static cling! I used them the first day they arrived on my doorstep and was impressed. I had been trying the green/organic method because I had started getting an itchy rash with conventional dryer sheets. This product hasn't bothered me one bit. I can't say I'm all that thrilled with the scent, but next time I need more dryer sheets, I will look to see if it comes in a different scent or just unscented.
I might also mention that they're recyclable and/or compostable, a definite plus on the environment.
Bottom line: it works getting rid of the dratted static cling.
Customer Review: Work as well as the "big names" Summary: 5 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
I've used these fabric softener sheets in several different types of dryer loads so far, and I've been happy with the results in all of them. The clothes and bedding have emerged soft, static-free, and less prone to attracting lint and pet hair (an important consideration for me, with two cats and two dogs in residence). I like the eucalyptus and lavender fragrance, and I also like that it leaves only the slightest suggestion of fragrance on the laundry. It's odd to open the box and see a stack of brown, folded paper sheets instead of the usual white woven polyester, but the chlorine-free, unbleached paper can be recycled or composted. The softening agents are also plant-derived instead of petroleum-derived. It's a small thing, but I like knowing I'm contributing that little bit less to both the landfill and the pockets of the oil barons.
