Customer Reviews of Seventh Generation Training Pants, 29 Count (Pack of 4)Customer Review: I really like them
I will first state that I can't compare this new Free and Clear version to the old version of training pants, as I had never used the old version. We did use 7th G diapers a lot when in the diaper phase and thought they were great (I've tried them all). I am almost through an entire case of these and have been very pleased. My daughter is 90% pee trained and stays dry at night, but not poop trained. So, training pants are a must in this household as she does not have a regular schedule for her BM's and sometimes can have 4 or 5 in a day. She has only wet in these a handful of times and it was very little (as in "oops, I better go on the potty!"), so I cannot comment on how much urine they can hold (although they ARE training pants, so I wouldn't want them to be able to hold as much as a diaper but that is just my opinion). She has had numerous BM's while wearing these - some VERY nasty (she eats a TON of fruit. Parents know what this means!) and have NEVER leaked out. The sides are very easy to rip so I can clean her up and then she can pull a new pair on. I actually prefer that the sides have to be ripped rather than the velcro sides of Pull-Ups. We had a ton of issues with Pull-Ups because the sides were always coming undone with her pulling them up and down to use the toilet. I was actually very impressed with the construction of these, too....they are soft, I LOVE that they don't have crazy characters or bright colors on them (so they don't show through clothing) and I also like that I could explain to my daughter "the trees go on the front" so it is easy for her to put them on herself. They make her feel like she is wearing underwear, she can easily put them on herself, and pull them up and down very easily. For me, it's great because I no longer have to scrub poop stains off of her underwear several times a day and deal with leaks down her legs, etc. from BMs.
