Buying the formula on here was great!! It was here in a few days and was MUCH cheaper than buying it from anywhere, including WAL-MART, which everything thinks would be cheaper. I've been using the powdered Similac Advance with Iron for my son since he was born. I started off buying it from Costco since it was the cheapest, but then I discovered Amazon which was cheaper & they didn't charge tax (WA state tax is high!) or shipping (if you bought enough).
I was buying the largest sized canisters 30.8 oz, but it seemed that every time I went back to buy more the price had gone up a few cents per ounce. Finally this last time they don't even offer the largest sized canister & you have to buy it in the 'six-pack' version to get the best price per ounce?! What the heck is going on?? Is it something with the way that Similac offers the product wholesale to Amazon or is Amazon just realizing they could charge alot more since they were the cheapest place to get it??? I bought 2 packages of the 6-pack which was a good value, and it should last the next few months until my son turns 1 and I can switch him over to regular milk.
Just wanted to put that comment out there....I rate the product as 5 stars since it has worked well for my son in his first year, but I rate Amazon a 3.5 for upping the price every few months.

This is a great formula. We use it for our twins and they do great on it. Another reviewer said it was hard to mix and gets foamy. While this is true its easy to avoid. #1 use a little hand mixer instead of shaking and it mixes fast and completely. Then do larger batches and let the container sit and the foam goes away. I'm giving this formula 5 stars but I'm giving amazon 2 stars for the price. I can buy this for less at Walmart and I live in CO were generally things cost more. I'll give Amazon 5 stars if they make the price less than $21.32 which is what walmart charges. Babies R US also charges a few cents less than walmart.Customer Review: I think it's a great deal and the free shipping helps a lot.
