Customer Review: Does have some BPA

Based on the previous review, I explored the website and talked with their customer service to find more information. First, they are working on making it BPA free, but for right now there is some BPA in these cans - according to Abbotts 50 times less than regulated limits, but it is not BPA free. We are keeping these for emergencies but primarily relying on the 32 oz container, since we do not want to take any risks with BPA.

Similac Expert Care Alimentum Ready to Feed is a nutritionally complete, hypoallergenic formula for infants with sensitivity to intact protein, protein mal-digestion or fat mal-absorption. It contains predigested protein and an easily digested and absorbed fat blend. Alimentum Advance also contains DHA and ARA. Use Similac Alimentum to give your baby a strong start in life. It is hypoallergenic and contains a milk protein that is broken down into tiny pieces to virtually eliminate allergic reactions in most babies who are allergic to cow's milk protein. It's designed for babies with colicky symptoms such as excessive crying and fussiness due to cow's milk protein sensitivity. It contains Alimentum made up of protein broken down into tiny pieces. It virtually eliminates allergic reactions in most babies with protein allergies. This includes special nutrients found in breast milk, DHA and ARA clinically proven to support mental and visual development in baby's first year.
