Customer Review: hours of matching? Should have used a sock tucker!

One of the most detestable tasks in the world is matching socks. I keep a little container of sock clips/tuckers next to the laundry so the family can clip their socks prior to washing. While these clips work well, they are not as great as some I have purchased. Some sock clips have two holes--one for each sock. With this product, you need to fit both socks into one of the sock tuckers. If your socks are relatively clean, that's fine. However, if the socks are somewhat dirty, you might not get the cleanest socks as you are essentially smashing the socks next to one another in one device. This can inhibit the ability of the washer to clean the socks.
I have never had a problem with socks falling out of the product. Make sure that you have moved the sock tucker far enough down the socks to ensure the product stays put. I frequently place the device in the middle of the socks if the socks are not too thick but one to two inches should be more than sufficient.
