very light material. it is foam but not memory foam. it works on my daughters brand new mattress but not on my sons older mattress. not as durable as i wouldve wanted but not returning. if you want a really good topper you have to spend money.Customer Review: not worth it

the 2" actually squishes down to 2mm if you weigh more than a 20lb baby. Disappointed at the cost per function aspect.
