** update ** I figured I could use this as a normal clock but it no longer even keeps time. It flashes constantly and changes time on it's own. ** DON'T BUY **
I purchased this alarm clock because I have a terrible time waking up in the morning. I turn alarm clocks off in my sleep - even ones across the room - so I thought this would be the perfect alarm clock. After the first week of working great, the alarm would work sporadically. I was late to work 3 times before I finally stopped using it. Sometimes I was only able to set one of the alarms (it has 2). The other one was stuck and wouldn't change - it also had all the lights lit up so I couldn't even tell what time it was set. I had to unplug and let it stay unplugged all day and when I came home, I could plug it in and set the alarms (sometimes). I'm really disappointed because this was not a cheap alarm clock.
The other people had better luck than I did. If you want to buy this, you should make sure you keep the box so you can return it. I didn't have the box so I was out of luck (and out of warranty). I am now back on a quest to find a good shaker alarm clock that will actually work.

People think this is loud? It does sound different, and it is not quiet, but it is not really all that loud. Between the bed shaker and the audio alert, it does get me out of bed.
But then the problem: The 'off' button is the same size and is easier to locate than the 'snooze' button. So, if you are at all bleary eyed and stupid in the morning like I am, you are far more likely to turn it off than you are to hit snooze. I bet the other reviewer who said it sometimes does not work right was just turning it off in his sleep rather than hitting snooze. In my book this is a fatal design flaw.
Nice big display; But it just does not do the job.

Inconsistent performance is not something you look for in an alarm clock, but that is what I got. Other reviewers had mentioned this problem, but I thought I'd take a chance. When I received the clock, I tested it about 10 times and got different results each time. Sometimes the alarm only lasted 5 seconds and then shut off on it's own - I need more than that to wake me up! Other times it lasted, 15, 20 or 30 seconds and then it shut off. As with most alarms, I expected the clock to go off until I woke up and turned it off, but not so!! I returned this clock to Amazon and won't be ordering a replacement.Customer Review: Never recieved Item and billed for it
