Customer Review: Never late for class. Ever

First semester I had class at 8:30am 4 days a week, which meant getting up at 7:30. My roommate didn't get up until 11 or so. Had it set to vibrate only and it worked fantastically.
I put the bed-shaker under my pillow (no box spring on college beds), and it is powerful! Woke me up on time every day, and my roommate got to sleep undisturbed.
Another useful feature is the "alarm off" function, which turns off the alarm for the day, but still leaves it armed for the next day, so I never have to worry about forgetting to set it before I go to bed.
The only downside is that it has a large power brick. If you don't have it plugged directly into the wall, plan to put it on the end of a powerstrip or invest in a liberator to make it work.

My son, aged 21 and home from college for the semester, is an extraordinarily deep sleeper. He can easily sleep into the afternoon if not interrupted. This means that sleeping through the alarm has been a huge problem for him, especially these days, when he has to wake up early to get to work.
He asked me to get him a "clocky" alarm clock (the one that runs around the floor) but I thought that wouldn't work for him because the floor of his room is covered with dirty clothes! (We need another product to fit that problem.) So I picked the Sonic Bomb based on its reviews and it arrived yesterday. He set the volume to max. When he went off, he told me, he thought the house was on fire between the noise and the vibration.
He got to work on time.

The noise is insanely loud. I accidentally had it on the first day and I thought we were under attack.
The vibrating disc is quite powerful. I keep it under my pillow and don't notice it unless it is going off.
I sleep very deep(I had 6 alarms before this, I would sleep through all of them) and this wakes me up everytime. I set it to go off a minute before my radio, kind of like someone gently nudging you awake. It goes off, then my radio, and I am wide awake within 2 minutes.
One downside... if you have a sore neck when you wake up, you won't actually get out of bed, you will just lay there letting it massage you...
Other than that it is fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone that has any sort of difficulty waking up.

This product is great. I can tell you I am a heavy sleeper I could sleep through anything and I am VERY hard to wake up. This alarm clock definitely wakes me up between the four LED lights blinking in your eyes and the alarm and man the vibrating disk is great( no pun intended), you put it under the mattress and it does a great job of waking you up just by itself, it literally shakes the whole bed. Although not as loud as I expected, but it is a LOT louder than your normal alarm clock and also you can set the alarm tone to either a high or low pitch. Normal alarm clocks just didn't wake me up at all and with this alarm clock I wake up every time. I definitely recommend this product for anyone hard of hearing or is a heavy sleeper like me.Customer Review: Sonic BOOM ALARM

I am a college student, between work, early classes and being partially deaf it can be a chore to wake up in the mornings. I used to rely on my mom or my girlfriend to call me, soon I couldnt hear or feel my phone, then my girlfriend started coming over early to wake me up. The Sonic Boom Alarm has given me the independance and responsiblity I was lacking, Instead of being a burden to everyone or treated like a child I am waking up on my own. You can't help how tired you feel after a long days work, or how hard you may be to wake up, but the Sonic Boom will give you the peace of mind that when you close your eyes at night your not going to miss class, work, meetings... I love my alarm and in retrospect I wish I had one sooner. 5 stars!
