First of all, the bristles on the Sonic Clean Between Machine--New Version are too big to fit between my teeth. Also, one AA battery is obvbiously not as powerful as two. I understand the reasoning (I guess) behind it: to make for a more comfortable fit in the hand, which it does. But the disadvantages far outweigh the advantages, in my opinion. I much prefer the older model. It has always been the "clean between" feature of this product that attracted me to it. As far as regular, exterior brushing, I much prefer Oral B Braun.
