The Sonic DS800 Deluxe Wired Doorbell/Telephone/Intercom Signaler accomplishes three functions in one new sleek updated case. Just plug the telephone cord into a modular telephone jack. Its advanced design draws no phone line power. With the lowest Ringer Equivalence Number on the market today (0.0), the signaler will not bog down your telephone service. The signaler flashes the light plugged into its outlet and sends signals to other Sonic Alert remote receivers. As both a doorbell and telephone signaler, it is designed to work with most models of doorbell systems and standard modular telephone jacks. This signaler will work in homes with or without an existing doorbell or chime. The Ringer Equivalence Number (REN) is a number assigned to every device (fax machine, telephone, answering machine, TDD, computer modem, signalers, etc.) that connects to your telephone service. Each device plugged into your telephone line will draw power. Once you have exceeded the amount of power given by your telephone company, many of the devices plugged in will not ring. Sonic Alert telephone signalers have the lowest Ringer Equivalence Numbers in the industry.Telephones
