My daughter loves her bear!! I bought it for her when she was 9 months old. She was sick and I bought it to keep her warm and as well as for a toy. She immediately became attached to the bear's smell (the bead bag has a calming aroma)and loved the size, softness and cuddling with it. Now, 4 years later and very worn, she is still in love with her bear. She still loves to sleep with it at night and uses it for security and to calm. I would highly recommend this bear to parents for children for its many uses. In fact, we will be purchasing a second bear as she wants a bear friend for her bear.
