Although the picture for this product shows it to be WHOLE flaxseed, it is as the description states - - GROUND flaxseed. I use this every morning and every evening (1T each time) and I have noticed a positive change in my body since I've been using it. Buy it here in the 4-pack because at the grocery or health food store, it's $7 - $9 per package and through Amazon, it works out to just over $5 per package and since I'm a Prime member, I received free shipping (and no tax) also. Great deal!
