Customer Review: AWESOME FOR AEROBICS - STEP - HIGH IMPACT CLASSES

I've been using these for years to save myself the $$ from buying new high-end Nike Shox every six months. I try to hit my cardio classes 3 times a week (cardio kickboxing, step, Latin cardio) and after six months of pounding the Nikes lose their cushion and my knees start hurting. The MINUTE I put in a new pair of these Spenco cross-trainers, it's like a new pair of shoes all over again and my knees feel great! You feel as if you're dancing on air! I do have to replace them every six months, however (because with the high-impact pounding, even the Spencos lose their cushion). Still beats paying $125 or more for a new pair of Shox every six months. I find that I can stretch my shoes out for two years using these (i.e., three replacements). Then I really do have to buy a new pair of Shox. Oh, and as one reviewer noted, yes, do take out the old inserts that came with the shoe first, then insert these. I didn't know to do that my first time many years ago, and was very frustrated; cut off the toe portion to make them "fit"...then I realized my error.
