Customer Reviews of Spine-Worx Back Realignment DeviceCustomer Review: This thing really works Summary: 5 Stars
I have debilitating problems with my L3-L4-L5-S1 disks with severe pain down my left hip and leg that sometimes requires me to use a wheelchair. Surgeries corrected physical problems but didn't stop the pain. I was skeptical this would work but for the low cost I decided to give it a try. The first time I used it 60%-70% of the pain was gone within a few minutes and the relief lasted for several hours. The more I use it the longer the relief lasts. I now only have to use it 2 or 3 times a day to keep the pain at manageable levels and have not had to use the wheelchair at all. See the other reviews for more details about positioning yourself on the device but I wanted to report that for my medical condition it really does work and it fits in my suitcase so I can carry it with me when I have to travel.
Customer Review: Never slept so good! Summary: 5 Stars
I must admit that I was skeptical at first but it turns out that I love my Spineworx. It has even prompted this, my first review on Amazon. For me, the secret is to REALLY concentrate on relaxing while laying on it. Not just a simple relax, but imagining each vertebrate and muscle falling to the floor as I lay on it. I like to try and do this each night before bed and I must admit that I've even fallen asleep while laying on it (although I am sure that this is not recommended)! However, it works for me and I have never slept so good. The pain in my lower left hip from carrying a baby around (even though she is now 3) is now mostly gone. This says alot since it was quite debilitating for awhile there and I thought that I had tried everything. I look forward to laying on my Spineworx everyday.
Customer Review: Single most effective treatment for me Summary: 5 Stars
I've tried almost everything for a back that has been sore on-and-off for 20 years (in the wake of a herniated L5 disc). Muscles rubs, electrical stimulation, posture balls, stretching exercises-- you name it, I've tried it. This is the only thing that gives relief reliably, and it's effects last much longer than the others. A 15-minute session leaves me pain-free for 2-3 days. And it's cheap!
The enclosed instructions are minimal, so let me mention one problem I've had: the high end goes under the small of your back. If you recline onto this with your legs bent (which gives you more control) it can be quite painful until you straighten your legs out. This is because in that semi-fetal position your back *should* bow out, not in. Now I roll onto it from the side.
Customer Review: It worked and it saved me thousands of $$$$ Summary: 5 Stars
My Chiropractor could not get my lower back in line and after two years of worsening low back pain, I was considering a treatment plan with another Chiropractor on a back stretcher machine. That program requires that you pay $2000 up-front for the program which may, or may not work.
Two months ago I spotted Spine Align on Amazon and decided to give it a shot. The very first time I used it it worked! I lay down on it and my lower back moved for the first time in years. My back muscles were a bit sore for a few days but that was more of a left-over from the back problem, rather than a result of the device. The sharp pain in my lower back is gone!
I am very pleased with this device. I use this every few days now just to stay in alignment.
Customer Review: Spine Worx Works Summary: 5 Stars
Cool. Spine-worx is cool.
After a few hours on the pc, my back would start to feel sore right in between the shoulders. I can lay down on the worx, slowly relax and my upper back pops and the tension is gone. It's very, very nice. I don't know how healthy it is to keep popping one's back, but it has replaced any foreseeable chiropractor visits.
The product itself is of decent quality, firm plastic; the rubbery yellow trails are soft enough. I'm 6'2", (solid) 210lbs and it fit my frame fine. My wife is 5'0" and she felt it was too high of an arch for her lower back. I'm not sure how it would work (or feel) on a "heavier" person, but for the price, I wouldn't let it hold you back.
In fact, I think I'll use it right now!
