This Stealth S.S.A is my 2nd Stealth sound amplifier. I ordered a 2nd one so I could charge the 1st one and have another to use. I use them mainly for listening to tv and have found them to be very helpful. At first, I noticed a lot of echo and feedback, but soon realized I had the volume too high; once I set the volume to a more comfortable level, I had no problems. My neighbor wears 2 hearing aids and is almost totally deaf and she told me to set the volume, you need to turn on running water (average stream) and adjust your volume so that the water sounds normal to you; then, leave it there (except for commercials of course as they are really loud). I have used this method and have had no problems. I would recommend the Stealth to anyone with hearing problems to try it. Also, customer service is really good too. I ordered new ear plugs as mine were wearing down and they sent them to me for free. I am very happy with my 2 Stealth's and have tried other products that were just a 'joke'; they did absolutely nothing for me. I'm sure their ability to help someone has a lot to do with the amount/kind of hearing loss one has. I've not had a hearing exam; I can only say that when people talk, it sounds mumbled to me and I can't make out the words and the Stealth has helped me there.
