This was purchased for my 77 year old mother. She had back surgery earlier this summer, so getting around isn't as easy as it used to be for her. My parents just purchased a new mattress set and it makes their bed quite a bit higher than their old one. My father remembered having to use one of these foot stools in their doctor's office, so he asked me to try and find one for my mother for her birthday. And that was very easy to do at "Amazon.com". It's exactly what he wanted -- needless to say, he and my mother were very excited when seeing it -- and so was I. Thanks, thanks, thanks!
