On the plus side, the suction cup is easy to place and holds firmly.
It is big, sticking out 4 inches from the wall, an inconvenience in a small tub or a shower. When in either of these environments, the big negative rears its ugly head...the part that holds the shower arm is thin and flexible and any bump to the shower head (easy in a tight environment) will cause the "fingers" to flex, sending the shower head clattering to the floor.

The suction mechanism works well and it holds to the glass block in my shower. However, the holder for the shower head is too flexible to hold the heavy Kohler shower head. The shower head bends the edges of the holder and easily falls to the drain pan of the shower.
