It took me forever to find this original style heat pad with NO AUTO SHUT OFF. Been using a heat pad for over 20 years (for back problems) and have tried every make, model and style and this Sunbeam is the best. I was extremely upset when I could no longer find a heat pad without that stupid auto shut-off feature. It probably took me over a year to finally find this one on Amazon although I purchase books here all the time, I never thought to check for a heat pad. I bought 2 pads because I'm afraid that I won't be able to find this pad in the future. I love the King Size Pad so much that I had thick (terry towel) covers made to replace the thin blue cover that it is sold with. THANKS for offering this product, it is my favorite "find" of the year!Customer Review: Excellent product

This heating pad is excellent. The size is nice for me, it hits my lower back and my neck at the same time, and I'm 5'6". I like that it turns itself off after two hours. It actually isn't good for the muscles to be heated long-term, that just makes things worse. The temperature is really fairly hot on this. I've used it on low and medium only depending on the ambient temperature and on the amount of clothes I have on. I just haven't needed to put it on high, but that's just me. the sponge that comes with it looks just like every other one I've seen. I haven't used, but have used other ones just like this and they work just fine. The price is the best I've seen so far anywhere. I searched in vain in stores (e.g., Walmart) for a heating pad, which did not have automatic cut-off feature (my spinal osteoarthritis dictates that I use a heating pad at night in bed which does not cut off after 1.5-2 hours). When searching on line for same, I noticed a similar groundswell of frustration. After much Internet browsing, I finally came across the Sunbeam HEalth at Home Easy to Use heating pad, which has worked out perfectly. Sunbeam, as well as other heating pad manufacturers, should make a variety of pads, with and without the automatic cut-Off feature, available both in stores and on-line.Customer Review: This Pad is the Fix for Me

A good night sleep is important to me. I had the problem of having frequent foot or leg cramps after an active day. Not wanting to constantly use creams or meds to prevent it, I decided to order the Sunbeam Health at Home King Size Moist/Dry Heating Pad from Amazon. I place it on the top of the covers, set on low and it is the answer to my problem. I would not want to be without it. I decided that it might fry eggs on high but the low setting is perfect. I have not experienced a single cramp since the first night of use.Customer Review: Very Therapeutic

The pleasure of heat on the back! This works very nicely and gives me a lot of relief. I have a bad back and this is about the only thing I have found that relieves the pain. A few sessions with this in a day and I am as good as new. Some people use a rice sock which I think will lose heat after awhile. This heating pad does a much better job as it has constant heat which will not turn off until you turn the heating pad off. Use this for only twenty minutes every few hours and do not sleep with it on your skin.
