This heating pad is great because it is not plastic with a cloth case. I don't like the plastic heating pads that come with an outer cloth cover. They get way too hot and start out far too cold. They also come out of that cloth cover (constantly) and have rather sharp edges on them. This one is really nice because it is all cloth. When you need to clean it, just toss it into the washer and dryer (after you've removed the power cord of course). I use my heating pad all of the time because I have cold feet and a bad back. I use it in the bed to warm the bottom of the sheets before bed, and I use it throughout the day to relax my back muscles. It has four heat settings with an auto turn off after 2 hours. I've owned four of these so far (because of the near-constant use). They last me about 2 years each which is a LOT of hours of heat!Customer Review: A Backwarming experience

I have only used this product once, however, I am totally pleased. The extra length cord makes use of the heating pad much easier for me. The settings are simple and easy to use. The automatic shut off prevents me from falling asleep or just plain forgetting to turn the device off. The large pad area allows me to use this product on my lower back or shoulders and sufficiently covers the areas of my concern. I would highly recommend this product to anyone searching for a new or like me, first time purchase of a heating pad.

Love this heating pad and I've had many. It gets hot enough for me and isn't too hot for my husband, if I'm willing to share! The controls are easy to use and the auto-off feature is nice for forgetful people like me. The pad is made of a soft, flexible fabric and is a great size. I plan to buy another one in the near future so that I never have to be without :)

I am a repeat customer. I purchased two of these to replace one used regularly for 5+ years for low back and muscle aches, cold feet and general comfort (his and hers). It is the right size, thin and flexible and comfortable to lie on, has reasonable heat settings and turns off after two hours. I fall asleep on it at night on its lowest setting with no skin changes after years of use. My only criticism is that the controller is just a bit too close to the pad and the cord is somewhat stiff - otherwise, ideal and reasonably priced.Customer Review: Perfect for my needs, so I ordered this second one!

Sunbeam must have read my mind on this heating pad! It is large enough to soothe my aching back and warm my heart, which brings on comfy impromptu naps. The cord is plenty long enough to put the pad inside the cushion on the back of my favorite chair and the automatic shut-off avoids "cooking" myself! I'm delighted with my purchase.
