My wife is struggling with a bit of painful tendonitis in her elbow. Her doctor recommended wrapping it in hot wet towel... which works, but it's hard to relax when you're constantly getting up to refresh the towel's heat and so on. So I thought this heating pad would be worth a try, and it was. There's a thin sponge-like layer that you remove and dampen under the tap and reinsert. The sponge doesn't look like much but it does the job. It stays wet for quite a while, so you can have the heat on for hours while you relax which is great. Anyway the wife has called it a "lifesaver" three days in a row now, it really helps sooth pain in the right conditions.Customer Review: Perfect!

I needed a heating pad for my hedgehog, as it gets pretty cold in my house and her heating lamp just isn't enough. When I turned it on I was very surprised at how fast it heated up. Within seconds it was fully heated.
She loves it. I'm ecstatic there's no auto-shutoff, so I can leave it on indefinitely. It cools down temporarily after awhile, but I think this is a safety function, and I actually really appreciate it.
I'm sure it would do just fine for its usual purpose. It's water-proof and the cover is soft. Very cozy indeed.

This certainly does not get as hot as the vintage model heating pads, but it gets the job done. It does seem to get hot and stay hot for several minutes, and then go through a short "cool-down" cycle, before getting hot again. That feature can be a little annoying, but I'm sure it's there as a safeguard.
The outer blue cloth pad is soft and comfortable to use, even on bare skin. The electric cord is long, and the dial is easy to use and read.

This product exceeds my expectations. I use it for upper back pain, lower back pain, and neck spasms. The 3-position heat control is very useful. My only complaint is that the unit bunches up inside the removable/washable cover and you have to straighten it out every so often but that is easily accomplished.Customer Review: Excellent heating pad for a good price

I bought two I was so in love. This heating pad is perfect. I enjoy the extra padding inside the case for extra comfort. It heats quick, the cord is pretty long and the size is perfect. I gave the other heating pad to my mom and she loves it too. :o) Highly recommended!!
