This product does what it says it will do. It lessen the dust in my room. It is very quiet and I have it hanging on my wall. As long as it is in an enclosed room than it should be good. This is the only place you can find this for a great price.

The Surround Air XJ-1000 Compact Ionic Air Purifier circulates trillions of negative ions throughout the room so air does not have to pass through the unit to be purified. Particles are removed from the air by attaching to magnetically charged metal plates, like a magnet. To clean, just insert a q-tip inside the rectangular openings beneath the unit. The XJ-1000 is only 8 inches across, and weighs under 2 lbs., so it is very easy to move around, and can be discretely placed almost anywhere. It also comes with a vehicle adapter, so you can also take it with you on the road and enjoy clean air even when stuck in traffic. Just wipe off the dust and residue from the metal dust collection plates. The XJ-1000 is virtually silent. Enjoy peace and quiet while your air is being cleaned, even while you sleep. At 3.4 watts, the XJ-1000 will have little effect on your electricity bill, costing just a few pennies a day to operate. Negative ionization has proven to be effective at removing many types of particles, including dust, allergens, smoke particles and more.
