It "refreshes" clothes without cleaning them. I use it on wool dress pants and sports jackets. The effect is similar to brushing. It takes out light wrinkles and causes tight wrinkles to loosen up a bit. It softens clothes and makes the nap stand up. The latter effect it particularly noticeable on sweaters, which puff up quite a bit. You can also use the sheets after some mild hand-washing to remove spots.
It gives clothes an odor similar to dry cleaners. It goes away quickly if you wear the garments immediately after treatment, but if you do several and leave them in your closet it's unpleasant. On the other hand, if you want to fool people into thinking the clothes are fresh from the dry cleaner, you may like the odor.
I find it extremely useful. I wear business casual clothes to the office most days, and usually manage to avoid getting them wrinkled or dirty. Still, they look less fresh at the end of the day than the beginning, and if I wear them four or five times between dry cleaning, they get somewhat disreputable. I don't like the expense, trouble and garment wear-and-tear from frequent dry cleaning; these sheets do exactly what I want. I have a separate rack in the laundry room for hanging them afterwards, that keeps the odor acceptable.
This is cheaper and more convenient than dryer dry cleaning products and far more convenient than hand washing products but, of course, it doesn't clean. It doesn't remove wrinkles as well as a steamer (or even as well has hanging it up in a closed bathroom during a hot shower), but it leaves the clothes looking much better in other respects: fresh and a little wrinkled instead of limp and wrinkle-free.

This product intrigued me and I was anxious to give it a try. I had some washable sweaters and cotton-blend shirts that had picked up some odors from restaurants, and jeans that needed a bit of reshaping after wearing. These clothes had only been worn once and were not noticeably soiled. I threw them in the dryer with the swash sheet, as instructed, and set the timer for 10 minutes on normal heat. When finished, the cloths came out with a fresh scent and the bad odors were gone. They all weren't wrinkle-free, however, and did require a touch-up with an iron. I'm sure this result depends on the fabric.
I like the results enough to consider buying it again. It would be an effective product for prolonging the newness of items of clothing that may fade with washing, as well as save on some dry-cleaning costs. It would also save the time that hand washing takes by freshening these types of items that didn't need a full wash and could stand the heat of a dryer. The single-use packets are handy to use and would be easy to pack for freshening clothes while traveling, if a dryer were available.
I didn't mind the scent of Swash and it didn't hang in the clothes for a long time. This product seems to perform as stated and is useful for it's purpose. I recommend it.
All this noted, I think you could achieve the same results with a slightly damp towel and some "fabric fresh" product, but that's just my guess.

I don't normally gush over products when reviewing them, but seriously, these are wonderful. With a teenage boy in the home going through 3-4 dress shirts a week for high school debate/forensics, these have proven to be a God-sent! It was such a hassle taking his shirts to the dry cleaners with all our busy schedules just to get them pressed and freshened up. Not only was it always an issue to get them back in time for the next weekend's out of town tournament, but the cost just kept adding up.
With these Swash Steam Tumblers, we only have to take the shirts to the cleaners for a proper wash and pressing every third time! These come out of the package very wet, and are quite big, so you just pop one in the dryer with up to 5 dress shirts, and let it go on low for 15 or 20 minutes. They come out smelling wonderful, fresh, and wrinkles gone, ready to go!
The moisture and tumbling air remove odors, not just mask them, similar to the way that blow-drying your hair on cold can remove odors from your hair - the offensive molecules are literally blown away and sent out the exhaust.
So as long as the clothing doesn't look dirty, these are a wonderful way to save time, money, and electricity/energy with clothes that "just need a talking to" as it says on the back of the package. So if they feet your purpose, I highly recommend these little laundry cheat sheets. :)

My wife is the dry cleaning queen. Every Saturday she is delivering clothing to the cleaners when they open and back to pick them up on Sunday afternoons. While her clothes are not really dirty, she does not wear them more than once without dry cleaning them again.
She was skeptical of a heavily scented sheet that measures 10.5 x 12.5; however, appeasing me, she tried it on 5 pair of her slacks. Ten minutes and one less trip to the cleaners we are both happy that they came out refreshed, without wrinkles, maintained the center crease, had only a light fragrance when she opened the dryer and none the next day--all while saving us nearly $25.00 in dry cleaning last week.
In this economy, we are both sold on this product because it works while saving us money.

Swash Clothing Tumblers came came in handy to freshen several difficult to launder items. My daughter's UGG's got wet and developed a nasty smell. She tried everything, even putting them in the washer, but the smell still lingered. As a last resort, we tried Swash. Surprisingly, they helped to eliminate most of the odor. Swash also came to the rescue of my Christmas sweaters. I own several sweaters with felt appliques that are marked "hand wash-do not dry clean" but I am fearful that the felt will bleed. After several wearings the sweaters were smelling not so fresh. Ten minutes in the dryer with a Swash sheet completely revived my sweaters. These sheets come in handy for a quick fresh-up if you don't have time to launder or are afraid to launder an item.
