Pros:1) You can use the dry dust cloths -OR- the wet cleansing cloths with this broom / mop.
2) The mop head pivots 180 degrees, allowing you to get under objects like your couch, and also for easy storage
3) The dust cloths pick up EVERYTHING, including dust you couldn't even see.
4) The cloths are easy to attach and detach and stay firmly attached while in use.
5) Nice price for a nice product (that dusts AND mops your floor, I might add).
Cons:
1) Both the dry and wet cloths are only semi-effective on gritty or rough surfaces. Example: in the winter, my front hall gets messy with sand and grit from the front sidewalk - it needs to be swept before I mop, or the Swiffer ends up scraping all that junk across my tiles. Not really a con per se, as long as you're aware of it in advance.
Swiffer products have made a big difference in the amount of time it takes me to dust my house and the effectiveness of the job I do. Like the other reviewer, we have pets, and we need to dust and de-fur our home more often than other people do. Being able to do it quickly, effectively and easily is important. This product enables me to do just that.

The dry pads are amazing at getting hair and fibers off the floor. I live in a small apartment with spaces in the wood floor that catch everything and there is also construction going on outside our building that brings in a ton of dust and fiber. No matter how many times I sweep and mop, some hair and fibers manage to escape the broom and mop. The dry pad on the swiffer caught the hair and fibers, and I felt for once that the floors were actually clean, and my apartment feels much more livable.
I would recommend this product for anyone with a similar problem cleaning hair and fibers. This is also a great timesaver, especially for cleaning bathroom floors and quick sweep jobs on hard floors. The swiffer is very lightweight and hardly feels like cleaning. However, unless you use it very regularly, I think that an actual sweep job might occasionally be necessary, as the swiffer does not have a dust pan, but binds the dirt to its pad.

I discovered a new use for our Swiffer that I want to share, since it might save someone else some time. If your front and back car windows are hard to clean by hand, try this. First, unsnap the top section of the Swiffer handle, giving you about an 18" handle with the Swiffer head at the end. Then, attach a small microfibre cloth to the head, spray some car window cleaner on the cloth, and wipe your car windows. It actually makes doing this fun. After I wiped mine, I attached a dry microfibre cloth and wiped them again to dry them good.Customer Review: WOW! My floors are spotless!

Incredible the cleaning ability of this little thing. At first I was very reluctant. It looked quite flimsy, and i did not believe it would be able to clean my floors. After a couple swipes it had cleaned everything in its path. I look forward to purchasing the WetJet and see what that has in store. I definitly recommend this product. You will not miss having to lean down and clean up the little piles of dirt that accumulate after you sweep. It takes just seconds to run the swiffer down the hall and around the kitchen floor and it picks up all the dog and cat hair that seems to accumulate every day - also all the household dust. For crumbs and bigger stuff, I use it like a broom to collect it all in one place and then push it into a dust pan. Also have a Swiffer Wet Jet which makes keeping the floor clean so simple - perfect for dirty dog prints. Even my kids clean the floor now.
