I have had my Swiffer Vac for 5 years now and it just died on me tonight. I LOVED it and will buy another one tomorrow! Works perfect for everyday sweeping. We have a very busy household and 3 pets so a lot gets tracked in and little fur balls tend to accumulate, the Swiffer Vac picks it all up (other than leaves and other big particles, but what do you expect) For some reason, mine always had a hard time picking up cat litter, but after going over the area a couple of times it would get it. The only downfall to it, is the battery life. I have all hardwood and tile floors and can only get 1, maybe 2 rooms done in a single charge. I have bought several other vacuums similar in size, etc, but have not found one that is as continent and effective as the Swiffer VacCustomer Review: Awesome for a quick sweep

This little vac is wonderful for our family. We have two pets and three children leaving crumbs on our floor constantly. I keep this in a closet close to an outlet where it charges. When I need to sweep around the hardwoods, I pull it out and have it put back in less than 3 minutes. It vaccums very well and swivels around corners with ease. I honestly don't change the cloth often and have even used paper towels on it instead. It just works great for me, allowing me to not have to bend down and deal with a dirty dust pan that still leaves a line of dirt on the floor. Thanks to my sister for getting this as a birthday gift for me. I would think most people would like this unless you have heavier items that won't come up. THIS is my favorite cleaning tool since I got one a few months ago.
If you have a lot of hardwood, vinyl and tile floors,
it works better than a broom and is a lot easier to just whip out
every day for a few minutes and zip over the floors.
It will even pick up crumbs off low pile carpeting
and then you can postpone the heavy vacuuming for days and days longer -
meaning more time update your blog! ;-)
My other favorite tool is also a swiffer -
the kind with the long handle and the fluffy dusting puffs.
Have been using that for years and years and it really speeds things up -
thereby once again leaving more time for surfing the interweb.

I purchased this after doing a ton of research on other cordless floor vacs. I thought the Shark would be awesome, it does carpet/rugs too, but I couldn't find many good reviews on it. I purchased this and have used it a few times and am really impressed! The suction is great, it does a great job on hard wood stairs b/c of the pivoting head. And the cloth 'sweeper' part pics up a ton of dirt/dust that may have been missed by a regular vacuum. I thought (from other reviews) that the battery would run out before I was done but I could go over areas a few times before it ran down. My house isn't real large but my entire upstairs and main level, approx 1600 sf are hard wood or tiles. Highly recommend this item.Customer Review: Couldn't Do Without My Swiffer SweeperVac!

I have to say, I could not do without my Swiffer SweeperVac! I use it every day on my Linoleum "plank" flooring, which covers almost my entire home. It's amazing how much pet hair and other debris I pick up, each time, even though I had vacuumed the previous day. You see, I have three dogs and eleven cats, all indoor/outdoor, and, out of necessity, the carpeting had to be replaced with new flooring--a fantastic decision, I might add. The SweeperVac is a cleaning product that I would never want to be without. I can't tell you how many other vacuums, floor-cleaning machines and tools that I own--an endless list. However, in truth, the SweeperVac is my very favorite. Scouts honor! It's the best!
